I wish anything I could say or do could be as eloquently inspiring as this young man's story... but I guess that's the point...
It's a story about golf, but it's not about golf. It's an inspiration about living life fully -- no matter what.
It starts a bit slowly, but it's more than worth the 12 minutes you'll invest. Stick with it. And pass it on. From what I can tell by view counts on the original ESPN site and YouTube, not many people have seen this yet.
Make a Difference,
Brian
P.S. Thanks to Linda Bryant for sending it my way.
I serve on the United Cerebral Palsy Association National Board of Directorsand hav ehad the honor of meeting dJ. I have cerebral palsy and can attest to the courage and determination of wanting to
exceed not only others expectations but my own.
The power of reaching and exceeding one's own human potetial is truly undescribable. I started downhill skiing three years ago using adaptive ski equipment and was able to do a Double Black Diamond in Vail! Such an accomplishment is very powerful and gives me confidence to strive to do "Black Diamonds" now in everything I do!
I challenge everyone to reach their own human potential, exceed expectations and make a difference for those you meet everyday. It;s one o the most exhilarating feelings you can ever experience!
